Magnolia Point Tennis alongside Mrs. Lynda Dapra are hosting the 2nd annual Don Dapra Tennis Classic, a charity tournament aimed at assisting a local family directly & tragically affected by CV-19. Mr. Don Dapra unfortunately lost his battle with CV-19 shortly after contracting the disease. It was sudden and unexpected. Life altering for Mrs. Lynda Dapra, she continues to keep her husband’s memory alive with an annual charity tennis tournament. “Don loved tennis!” says Mrs. Dapra, “…though he didn’t win often, he didn’t let that stop him. He loved his time on court!”
Come out and join us on Sunday, November 20th at 8:30 AM to begin registration for our annual charity tennis tournament at Magnolia Point Tennis. The fun “play-day” ~ round robin format – where you draw your partner and play for 30 minutes, take a quick break then choose another partner to play with and repeat.
Registration fees are $75/ per player and $40/ per spectator. Included with the tournament is a loaded continental breakfast complete with a create your own bloody mary station along with a customize your own mimosa station. Players will also have Gatorade + water courtside for quick sips and snacks available throughout the tournament to quickly refuel. Lunch will be a courtside cookout with a fabulous menu to be announced.
It’s going to be a great day with live music by Spade McQuade, a silent auction, adult beverages and a BBQ. You don’t even need to play tennis. Just come out and hang out and let’s celebrate the life of Don who was taken way to early. ❤️🎾❤️🎾❤️
