Club Vandalism
This past week, the club was hit again with serious vandalism. These criminals vandalized our tennis courts and broke into our golf cart barn and took a cart. The cart was dumped in a lake on the golf course. Two nights later they hit again and vandalized the tennis bathrooms.
The police have been notified and are promising increased support. We ask that all neighbors help us minimize these senseless acts and help fight this awful growing problem. If you see any suspicious activity anywhere on club property or see anyone on the course that is not playing golf, please contact the pro shop during normal business hours. After business hours, please call the Green Cove Springs police department. Hopefully with your help, we can put a stop to this increasing problem.
The club is also offering a reward of $50.00 for information leading to the arrest of these criminals.
In order to protect club property, the tennis bathrooms will now have the same hours of operation as the golf pro shop. Hours of operation are 7AM-6PM. The golf staff will unlock the bathrooms in the morning and lock them when the pro shop closes in the evening. We apologize for any inconvenience, but we need to make every effort to protect the club from this unfortunate activity.
