Renovation Financing Package:

We are hoping to hear very soon about the renovation loan package. There is one final piece of the loan package that is awaiting approval.  As announced at the round table meeting, the loan package is for the renovation of the swimming pool, pub, and golf course greens. Once the financing is completely finalized, work on the pool and pub will begin immediately. The greens renovation will start in the spring of 2017.

Golf Course:

The maintenance staff has increased the needle-tining and top-dressing of the greens. Both of these procedures have helped the greens recover much more quickly from the cooler winter months. We have received quite a bit of positive feedback already and appreciate your patience as we try to improve the putting surfaces. Have you ever been hungry on the golf course? Not anymore, we are now offering delicious all beef hot dogs on the beverage cart.

Pro Shop:

The pro shop has some very reasonably priced, men’s and women’s clothing from Nike and Under Armour.  Stop by the pro shop and check out the new merchandise. We also have some brand new logo shirts that look terrific.

Tennis:

Magnolia Point has a new Head Tennis Professional, Klara Permenter. She has already started running some excellent clinics and is also available for individual instruction. She can be reached at 904-888-0413. We are having a Meet & Greet for Klara on May 13th from 6:30pm – 8:30pm at the tennis courts. Everyone is invited to come out to welcome Klara but reservations are required to participate.  The Tennis, Tacos & Tequila event is $30++ per person ($20++ for Tennis ONLY).
