Tennis Facilities

Magnolia Point Golf and Country Club provides 7 har-tru courts, 4 of which are lighted for night play. There is no charge or added tennis dues for members or residents. Magnolia tennis has a fully equipped pro shop with everything you will need to start or advance your game. For your convenience we offer 24-hour turn-around racket stringing. Magnolia Point’s top notch staff and facility is proud to be affiliated with USTA Florida and First Coast Tennis. Junior Class Schedule:

Thursdays from 4 to 5 beginners and from 5 to 6 intermediate level  group classes for kids. Summer tennis camps are planned, check back for timing and details!

Adult Clinic Schedule:

Mondays and Fridays from 9 to 10-30 ladies team clinics

Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-30 to 7-30: mixed doubles clinics

Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7-30 to 8-30: mens team clinics

Class and Clinic Rates:

Adult & Junior Group Classes – $10.00 per hour and $15.00 per hour and a half.

Quick Start Classes – $8.00 for half an hour.

Guest Fee Per Class for Non-Members – $5.00

Private Lessons:

Private Lessons are available 4 days a week according to the table below. Call Klara Permenter Head Tennis Pro, at 904-888-0413 and get on the COURT!!!

Class Descriptions:

Quick Start: This class is for children 10-years-old and under. The class focuses on the development of hand eye coordination, movement, and the basic fundamentals and rules of the game.

Adult Intermediate/Advanced: “Point Construction” and learning how to win tennis matches is the focus of this class. As the class progresses, players are prepared for tournament and competitive play.

Match Play: Playing tennis in a fun, friendly environment, while trying to incorporate knowledge and skills from instruction given in class.

Friday Mixers: This is a very social, fun playtime for players of all ability levels, including music, snacks and drinks.

Leagues and Teams:

Magnolia Point Tennis is proud to host a wide variety of options for the social/competitive tennis enthusiast!

Adult Leagues are in full swing, allowing all ages and abilities to compete in a fun, yet challenging experience. Our partnership with the USTA, First Coast, Working Women’s and Country Club Tennis Association has provided an awesome way to enjoy and learn the game of tennis. Magnolia Point is currently hosting 9 teams… so the opportunity is there for you to join. Please give us a call and get on the court!

For the 18 and under tennis player, Magnolia Tennis is also host to Clay High School Tennis. The young men’s and women’s teams practice every day during the week and have a full schedule of matches. Please, come by and support these teams. Their schedules are posted at the courts and you can check with the school to get all the latest information.
